Solo Parent Society to Host Nashville-Area SoloStrong Celebration for Single Parents and their Kids

The first annual SoloStrong Celebration will feature food trucks, games and inflatables, interactive crafts, family portraits, a massage station, face painting, S.W.A.T. and firefighter demos, giveaways and much more! There will also be special appearances by recording artist Jason Gray, master illusionist Bryan Drake, actor Cory Oliver (God’s Not Dead) and Focus on the Family author Robert Beeson. 

Recognizing the strength and courage that it takes to be a single parent, Solo Parent Society set out to create a fun and inspiring one day event for single moms and dads and their kids. 

"34% of U.S. households are parenting alone," says Solo Parent Society founder Robert Beeson. “Speaking from experience, overwhelmed single parents feel exhausted and isolated. At Solo Parent Society, and specifically at this event, we want to honor these solo families for the difficult load they carry with a fun and inspiring day to remember. We’ve come to understand that when solo parents come together, we can share strength and experience to help move forward in hope. We are stronger together."

The first annual SoloStrong Celebration is presented by Solo Parent Society, Convoy of Hope, Church of the City, KLOVE and WAY-FM.
